Jason Walker’s bio.
In his own words:
I joined the army in 1991, served with 1st battalion the Royal Green Jackets in Northern Ireland and then Cyprus, 1993-94 my team was involved in a serious incident when our vehicle was blown off the road by an I.E.D .
I lost three men, one being my best friend, but managed to save one, who sadly lost his leg, but then later he found love in the nurse who cared for him and they’re still going strong, I guess it was meant to be.
I was temporarily paralyzed from the hips down, but somehow I was able to get out and muster help. (I don’t know how I did it), but I was very lucky. Yet, it’s bitter sweet!
So playing guitar for me is a way of expressing feelings that I can’t normally verbalize.
I first met Keith Symes about 5 years ago through a mutual friend David Ashton, who was working with a charity which helped people with mental health issues, start a band! Keith kept in touch with me, and later invited me to come and join him for a creativity session one day and I’ve been working with both Keith Symes and Georgia Paris since October 2016. Both Georgia’s and Keith’s dedication and professional approach to the music we create compliments – my own!
As a fellow fan of Pink Floyd, the subtle and moving vocals of Georgia Paris, and incredible compositions and video creations of Keith Symes, gives me the scope for setting the mood, nuances so to speak, and for that I’m immensely grateful!
